Villas de Playa Colorada Situation on Lanzarote
Ideally located in Playa Blanca, right near the seafront.
Lanzarote is an island within the heart of the Atlantic Ocean whose people have created a privileged home of lava and ashes. Situated in the most northern latitude by a tranquil ocean tamely lying on its beaches and crowned by volcanic peaks, the island offers a survey of ochre tones, a genuinely intense atmosphere, capable of seducing the most indifferent observer.
Every single day, the everlasting spring blesses the skies of Lanzarote with the clearest blue, and its nights are tinted by the clear light of a radiant moon. Strands of sand dunes and marinas dot the coast line in white, gold and jet black. It is truly an ideal place to bask in the sun and relax, taking in the marvellous atmosphere and countryside of Las Islas Afortunadas.
Its unique ecosystem (Declared by UNESCO in 1993 as Biosphere Reserve), its mild climate (with an average annual temperature of 21 º), its numerous and magnificent beaches are united in the vision of local artist Cesar Manrique, making the Island a holiday paradise.

Situated on the first rate of Playa Colorada
La Playa de las Coloradas, in the village of Playa Blanca. Playa Blanca is located in the south of the municipality of Yaiza. Originally a fishing village, today it serves as a tourist resort integrated in the Natural Park of The Ajaches, with its outstanding mountains. On the main street you can find a lot of gift and souvenirs shops, close to the best restaurants which can satisfy nearly all tastes.

There are numerous places of interest in the area, but as to their importance and proximity to the Villas we recommend the following:
THE MARINA RUBICON:
One of the best and most modern marinas in all of the Atlantic.
THE TIMANFAYA NATIONAL PARK:
Discover why Lanzarote is called “The Island of Fire.” An excursion to this park will open your eyes to the amazing world of volcanoes. You can choose a typical excursion by camel or a guided tour all around the park.
THE MONTAÑA ROJA VULCAN:
A spectacular volcano where you can see the best overlook of Playa Blanca.
THE SALINAS DEL JANUBIO:
A series of natural salt lakes which were created by the volcanic eruptions of 1730. Here you can see the traditional activity of salt extraction from seawater.
THE HERVIDEROS:
The name of a coastal area where you can watch the violent crashing of the waves in the channels that were formed by the rivers of lava that flooded into the sea. When the sea is rough, it pours in through the holes in the lava and rises to the surface like boiling water.
Beaches
Numerous beaches of calm and transparent water: Playa Blanca situated in the heart of the village covered with fine and golden sand; Playa de las Coloradas, a strand close to our villas and especially suited for fishing; and Playas de Papagayo, a series of removed, unspoiled beaches which are only accessible by paths of sand and volcanic ash, here nudist activity is permitted on its sands of gold:
